FAQs

Frequently Asked Questions

How does something get onto this site?

We check a list of community websites and read what they have published. A few of them publish a proper feed. For most of them there is no feed, so we read their own listing pages instead.

A person approves every item before it goes up. That check is a light one — it asks whether the link works and whether the item came from a site we follow. It is not a judgement on the article itself, and we do not read everything we link to all the way through.

So things do slip past. In October 2026 someone from one of the reader organizations pointed out that we had described two people’s work wrongly, and that we were carrying general news articles that had nothing to do with the book. Both were true. We fixed them.

If you see something here that does not belong, or a credit that is wrong, please tell us at connect@urantia-connect.org. We would rather hear it from you than leave it standing.

Do you host the articles and videos?

No. Each item here is a short summary and a link. Clicking it takes you to the original site. The work stays where its makers put it.

Who owns the content?

The people and organisations who made it. Summaries here are kept short on purpose, and every item credits its author and the site it came from.

If you wrote something listed here and would rather it were not, please write to us and we will take it down.

Can I submit something?

Not through the site — there is no form for it yet. If you know of a website we should be reading, or an event we have missed, please write to connect@urantia-connect.org.

How often is it updated?

We check for new material regularly. How long something stays depends on what it is:

EventsDrop off a week after they happen
Articles, news and talksStay for about a year

Two sources are set differently, and it is worth knowing which: The Center for Unity publishes almost daily, so their essays drop off after a month to stop them filling the page. Gary Tonge’s video talks never drop off, because that is a back catalogue rather than a news feed.

Why does that item have no date on it?

Because the site it came from did not give one. Some seminar pages list only a year. Some monthly reports give only a month.

Rather than invent a date that nobody published, we leave it off. Undated items are listed after the dated ones.

Why is the newest thing on a tab several months old?

Usually because that is genuinely the newest thing that site has published. Some reader organisations post weekly and some post twice a year.

Do you track me?

We count visits so we know roughly how many people use the site. We set no cookies, we do not identify you, and nothing is shared with advertisers or anyone else.

That is also why you have never been asked to accept cookies here.

Is this an official Urantia site?

No. Urantia Connect is independent and run by a reader. Urantia Foundation, The Urantia Book Fellowship, Urantia Association International, TruthBook and the other organisations listed here are separate bodies and do not run this site.

I found a broken link.

Please tell us at connect@urantia-connect.org. Links do break when sites are rebuilt, and we would rather know.
